Owens, Robert
Rob Owens, EdD, LCMHCA has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Rob is currently an Adjunct Instructor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's Bryan School of Business and Economics. Rob also works as a Better Care Coach at BetterUp.
At Valor Performance, Inc. he is employed as a Master Coach and was formerly an Elite Performance Coach. Rob is a member of the Mental Health Registry and Sport Psychology Registry for the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee. In addition, he has held various positions at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, including Faculty Development/Instructional Design/Lecturer at the Bryan School of Business and Economics, and Adjunct Professor of Sport and Performance Psychology at the University of Western States. Rob has also worked as a Group Exercise Instructor at ClubFitness Greensboro, a Visiting Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Campbell University, and as a Faculty Development Specialist and Adjunct Instructor of Exercise Physiology at Winston-Salem State University. Earlier in his career, he served as an Instructional Technology Specialist and Instructional Technology Consultant at UNC Greensboro.
