Program Overview

"Essence" is a term that has existed since Plato; recently in his book "Essentialism"  Greg McKeown helps us apply the concept to life. This presentation examines essentialism in coaching: what are the forms of coaching and how do they help us launch into connection with our clients? What is the substance of professional coaching? How do we intentionally grow and develop our 'essence?' Participants will explore and share the marriage of form and substance in their own practice, and score themselves on a simple balance tool.

Outcomes:

  • Explore and share structural models for coaching

  • Engage in reflective exercises that unpeel who we are, at two levels

  • Calculate a visual 'form/substance' diagram that represents individual coaching practice
